Artist Statement
A physical language for inner states.
My artistic work emerges from the need to transfer thoughts, emotions and personal experiences onto canvas. Painting is a way for me to make inner states visible and give them physical form.
A defining element of my work is the intense use of structure. Through elevation and depth, surfaces emerge that can be experienced not only visually but also physically. This materiality allows tension, fracture and emotional density to become part of the work itself.
I see my paintings as emotional spaces in which personal experiences connect with universal feelings. The aim is to create works that appear quiet, yet carry a strong and lasting presence.
